These are the autoharps which we will donate
to the two major autoharp contests of 2007.
Each is a d'Aigle Cascade, 12 bar single key diatonic. Each has a
unique inlay/overlay mother of pearl eagle. For the autoharp on the
left, the inscription on the eagle reads "Mountain Laurel 2007".
This autoharp is set to play in C.
On the autoharp on the right it reads "Walnut Valley 2007". This
autoharp is set to play in D.
The Mountain Laurel Autoharp Championship is held each year at the gathering
in Newport PA.
The International Autoharp Championship is held at the Walnut Valley
festival in Winfield KS.

Each of these 'harps has an Alaskan Sitca
spruce top and Pacific Bigleaf maple back. The backs are a combination
of very nice quilt and spalting. Each has duotone edging.
The Mountain Laurel 'harp is trimmed in Oregon walnut, the Walnut Valley
'harp is trimmed in western cherry.
If you would like to enter the contests, all
you have to do is show up at the festivals and pay a nominal fee for entry.
You can find the information by linking to the sites through our "Links To
